These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Rock Identifier ("the App"), operated by Poised Venture Studio ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Rock Identifier is an AI-powered app that identifies rocks, minerals, crystals, and gemstones from photos. The App uses Google Gemini AI to analyze images and provide identification results.
Important: Rock Identifier is an educational and entertainment tool. Identification results are generated by AI and are not guaranteed to be accurate. Results should not be used as a substitute for professional geological assessment. In particular:
We are not responsible for any decisions or actions taken based on identification results provided by the App.
Rock Identifier offers a free tier (2 identifications per day) and premium subscriptions:
Free trial: The yearly subscription includes a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial period). Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing your subscription: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple device you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to design, text, graphics, and code — are owned by Poised Venture Studio and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Photos you submit remain your property.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Poised Venture Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark.
These Terms are between you and Poised Venture Studio, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the App. To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.
